Hvordan kan:
[tex]4cos^2 x-16cos x +16 +4sin^2 x -8sin x +4 [/tex]
være lik
[tex]24-8sin x -16cos x [/tex]
?

Bruk at [tex]4cos^2+4sin^2=4[/tex]

Fikk til hit og lurer nå på hvordan dette :
[tex]\sqrt{24-8sin x -16cos x} [/tex]
blir til:
[tex]2 \sqrt{6-2sin x -4cos x}[/tex]
?

Er bare gjort en faktorisering:
[tex]\sqrt{24 - 8\sin x - 16 \cos x} = \sqrt{4(6 - 2 \sin x - 4 \cos x)} = 2 \sqrt{6 - 2\sin x - 4\cos x}[/tex]
